Various forms of ocean life

Marine biology is the study of different forms of life in the oceans, plants and animals. Scientists and individuals are showing interest in the ocean, because there are still many things to discover. Some parts of the environment of sea water are still unknown, simply because humans can not access them easily. You need more information about the hierarchy of life forms and how each interact and the environment.

Microscopic creatures

Zooplankton are generally larger and can be microscopic. Several protozoa zooplankton, including radiolaria, dinoflagellates, foraminifera and Zooflagellates. Some of these beings are also phytoplankton, the plant and animal type normally tiny rotting corpses. Others may include arthropod zooplankton, polychaetes, cnidarians, Urochordata and annelids.

Plants

You have plant diverse marine life. Microscopic photosynthetic algae provide much of the planet's photosynthetic production in relation to the total forest land. Some migrate to other regions on the basis of the current temperature, habitat and food availability.

The reptiles, birds and mammals

There are many creatures that live at sea and sea snakes, saltwater crocodiles, sea turtles and marine iguanas. Most of these reptiles have to return to land to lay their eggs. Some extinct species such as ichthyosaurs changed and no longer need to return to earth. Several sea birds are also present, such as penguins, albatrosses and gulls. They spend most of their time in the ocean, while others prefer to stay home.

There are basically 5 types of marine mammals. The polar bear is considered a marine mammal because it depends heavily on the ocean. The whales are toothed whales, such as porpoises and sperm whales. Sea Otter is part of the family of weasels. Sirenia include sea cow, manatees and dugongs. The seals, walruses and sea lions are grouped as pinnipeds.
