Scuba Wet Suit
question about dry suit diving or rent?

My husband is a teacher of a Navy diver was not able to go in recent years because of work, family and finance. Father's Day I would like to surprise her with a trip Diving on San Juan Islands in Washington state (we live in Wa.) The only problem is that it has a dry suit. hes 6'6 215 pounds. We can not allow a customer to maintain dry at this time. So I wonder, really. Can you make the plunge into the cold waters with only regular wet suit without dying of hypothermia? For some time, said he would if it was during the summer. Is there a place in the State of Washington could find a dry suit hire someone your size? hes never been able to dive in Puget Sound. You plan to obtain a gift certificate to our local dive shop so you can get new skin and supplies. I have no experience with diving and I'm looking for serious answers from the experience divers here.

Goes well with a piece of 2, 7 mm suit with hood and gloves. I am a diver in the Great Lakes, once water has been over 70 F. I've never had a problem with being a 7mm 2pc ice diving, though. Chances are, the colder they will find in this area is far from the 45F 38F you often see ice dives. I have two types of action and simply choose wet or dry depending on how far it is to go to a warm place after the dive and if I'm diving under the ice near the ice conditions. If the water is warmer than 50F, I will always be more humid than dry suit diving is unbearably hot and you may begin to sweat one. Out of the water in a combination with a wind chill of a frozen lake is very cold so you have to go far to reach heat. A dry suit is like having a parka on. Find a store that has a dry suit rental will be difficult. They are usually tailored to the individual. Proper fit is essential for buoyancy control and maintenance of both reason warm. The only one store had one in the hand that serves as her husband is if there was one made by a client that has not been collected. Rare. In any case, using a dry suit actually requires training and certification so if he did not do that, it is better and more safe in a wetsuit. Living in a dry suit and feet are directed toward the surface, shooting on a train out of control unless you have learned the skills necessary to stop it. A bad thing to do with depth. Where does 7 mm, it will easily be able to rent one which corresponds to a dive shop at the destination. Land to Rent about $ 50 for a weekend. Edition: Vincent is a bit wrong in his response. Dry Suits are to keep warm, so that if more time down in ice water to you Pony yourself using a bottle of argon gas for inflation separately, since it has better insulation properties of your table air tank. The added bonus is that, yes, the clothes will remain dry, but you do not wear street clothes anyway but thermal underwear.
