Buttons under water in the lubricating device?
Hi Ive got a ReefMaster IVE SeaLife DC500 for about 3 years and the buttons on the underwater housing began to paste I use WD40 or something? Thank you very much for any suggestion.
Underwater Housing O-rings are usually lubricated with a lubricant containing silicone. Do not use WD40. If you have a dive shop near you, you should store the silicone lubricant in small trays / tubes. It takes a good soak for half an hour or less. There appears to be sand or gravel in the ring O button – are not modifiable or generally relubricated but a little silicone on the outside help a little. Do not use buttons, because it will be impossible to sit in a satisfactory manner. With my fat underwater camera just ring the house, do not need buttons.
